The seasons are progressing!

The Golden Week holidays are over, and we can feel the footsteps of summer just around the corner.
Most of guests who come to Hiyodori are heading to Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine.
There you’ll find Oyunohara, which has one of the largest torii gates in Japan , but the surrounding area is surrounded by rice paddies.
Until the Golden Week period , the rice paddies there were covered with countless lotus flowers delighthing the eyes of visitors.

Then once Golden Week is over , the soil is tilled and water is poured into the rice paddies.
When all the rice paddies around the torii gate are filled with water , you can really feel that summer has begun.
The photo shows a torii gate reflected in a rice paddy on a night when the starry sky is beautiful.
This is my favorite scene of the beginning of summer.
The sight of the torii gate reflected in the rice paddies is a view I would really like everyone to see.
